Get Hygrophila Salicifolia (Hygro Blue)
Propagation
Cut healthy side shoots or top stems and replant the cuttings; the trimmed parent quickly throws new branches from the cut node.
Frequently asked questions
How is Hygrophila salicifolia different from regular Hygrophila corymbosa?
Salicifolia has much narrower, willow-like leaves and a more delicate, feathery look, while corymbosa is broad-leaved and bushy. Both are equally easy, but salicifolia reads as a finer-textured background plant and groups well in a row of several stems.
Why are the lower leaves dropping off my Hygrophila?
Bare lower stems usually mean the top growth is shading the bottom, or potassium and nitrogen are running low. Top and replant the healthy upper portions, thin the group so light reaches deeper, and add a balanced liquid fertilizer.
