Description
The Giant Tower Cap Snail is an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Pachychilidae. This snails justifies its name (Giant), as it can grow to be over 4" in length. They can be found in rivers all over Thailand and Burma. Unlike their cousin, the Rabbit Snail (Tylomelania) which are known to have large babies, the Giant Tower Cap gives birth to live, very tiny babies and only reproduce about 3 times a year.
