PLEASE NOTE: THESE SNAILS ARE NOT ACTUALLY BLUE. THEY ARE KNOWN AS BLUE POSO BUT THEIR ACTUAL COLOR IS A VERY LIGHT YELLOW/GRAY.
This aquatic mollusk is one of the most sought-after snail in the aquarium hobby. Snails from the Tylomelania Genus are known as "Sulawesi Snail", "Elephant Snail", or "Giant Rabbit Snail". These elephant faced creatures came to us from freshwater lakes in Indonesia and the peaceful nature of the Rabbit Snail is one factor that makes is interesting to keep them. They have long black and white, spiral like shells that can grow up to 4.5" long.
