Also known as Burmese Spiky, or Armored Spiny, the Horned Pagoda Snail is a rare mollusk from the Moei River, in Thailand. These creatures have an impressive appearance. Their amazing spiky shells are gold brown and have an incredible thickness to it, making it one of the hardiest snail shells in the aquarium hobby. They will bury themselves from time to time if the water conditions are not ideal.
The Pagoda Snail prefers thinner substrates and high water flow.
Although this snail does well in planted aquariums, make sure to keep them well fed as they have been seen munching on thinner plants.
