Description
Crinum Calamistratum, also known as the African Onion Plant, is an aquatic plant native to central Africa. This plant is very unique and rewarding when grown properly - it develops thin crinkled leaves that can grow up to 40" from the bulb. It is a slow growing plant but surprisingly hardy. Doesn't like to be touched/moved too much as it can cause some melting. Once settled this plant will grow bright green and Co2 is not required!
When planting, do not bury the bulb completely in the substrate.
