This hardy and undemanding plant is a mid-ground plant native to the shallow rivers of Thailand. Just like other Crypt species, this one requires stable water parameters and can't be moved all the time as the leaves will start to melt. It does not require CO2 injection but benefits from it as well as liquid fertilizers. This plant has big, elongated and wavy leaves with green/brownish coloration.

When pruned every so often it will grow more like a bush instead of tall and high, which is more appealing to some.

Quite common in the aquarium hobby and great for beginners.

It will propagate quickly by sending runners once settled in its new environment.

Plant was a little small. All of my plants looked great despite the USPS allowing my box to sit at the local distribution center for an extra day… I got an email from Etsy saying that my item was “out for delivery today” but then when it wasn't delivered that day I checked the tracking and it was still in the local distribution center. The next day, I got the same email and it was actually delivered. Everything was a little warm despite the cool pack in the bottom of the package, but only a few leaves on a couple plants were dead because of it - I think everything will be fine. Not really the seller's fault. Everything was beautifully and professionally packaged with temperature regulating bubble wrap and the cool pack.
