Cryptocoryne Wendtii 'Red'

This hardy and undemanding plant is native to the shallow rivers of Sri Lanka. This mid-ground plant requires stable water parameters as Crypts are known to melt away if moved constantly. Quite common in the aquarium hobby and great for beginners. This plant has big broad leaves that are pink/brownish on top and bright red on the underside. When pruned every so often, will grow more like a bush instead of tall and high, which is much more appealing. The Crypt Wendtii will propagate by sending runners.

It will provide great shelter for shrimp and small fish.
