Duckweed is a floating aquatic plant that reproduces very quickly and has an extremely fast growing rate. This plant is beneficial for any aquarium as it consumes ammonia and nitrates while providing shade and shelter for smaller top dweller fish, and fry.
Duckweed has tiny, rounded green leaves that will form a 'carpet' on the surface of your aquarium.
