Ceratophyllum demersum, commonly known as Hornwort and also known as Coontail or rigid hornwort, is a background plant native to all continents expect Antartica. This unique plant is extremely easy to care for and can tolerate many different water parameters. This plant is easily in the top 3 of easiest plants to grow and successfully keep - it can also be grown as a floating plant.
Hornwort is a stem plant that grows extremely quickly and therefore should be trimmed regularly.
It can be easily propagated by simply cutting of the stem and replanting it on the substrate.
Great for providing shelter to small fish.
