Description

Java Moss, also know as Bladder Moss, is a plant native to Southeast Asia and it's one of the easiest plants to grow in the aquarium hobby. Java Moss is extremely hardy and therefore great for beginners as it doesn't require Co2 and will adjust to pretty much any range of water parameters. This is a plant that will grow best when attached to any aquarium surface, including - driftwood, rocks, and ornaments. 

Propagation is done by division - simply divide little pieces and attach them in different locations.

Java moss

Package arrived on time, but was shipped in a sealed plastic bag, no water at all. Half of the plant was dead before I opened it, cold pack was warm.

Shipping took forever but was not the faul...

Shipping took forever but was not the fault of the seller, there were a couple holidays that delayed shipping and the seller chose to wait, which I appreciated. However, Most of the Java moss broke apart into a million small pieces the second it touched the water. I tried to scoop as much out as I could and wad it up into a ball so I could attach it but none if it is holding together. Not sure if it died during shipping or if I was just given a lot of scrap moss. It's like grass clippings in my tank. I'm hoping some survives but I'm not very optimistic. The dwarf hair grass I ordered seems ok though.

Customer service was wonderful and shipping was great. However moss did arrive a bit dry and some of it was browned. It was somewhat brittle. Not as high quality as the other plants I received. I hope it brightens up in my tank.
