This Breath taking, full aquatic plant grows immersed and submersed in the swampy areas of Central America. Not very often seen in the aquarium trade, this plant will make a great addition to anyone's aquarium background. Making itself stand out with it's broad lacy leaves. When fully submersed, this plant will develop a bright red coloration towards the top of the stem.
Under the right lighting conditions this plant will grow very fast and will get very dense, which is perfect when it comes to providing shelter for your aquarium inhabitants.

Plants were not doing well upon arrival. Roots were cut off, and some of the stems were starting to rot, so planting was more difficult than with other plants I have with an actual healthy root base. Then they just kind of died afterward. I've been trying to bring them back and I hate leaving a bad review but this was a total waste of money and time. Not one plant I bought made it. I don't think I'll be doing mail order plants anymore. From the other reviews I read, I guess I let my expectations get too high.
