Description

Floating Aquarium Plant Pack - Red Root Floaters & Salvinia Cucullata

Salvinia Cucullata, is a floating aquatic plant that reproduces very quickly and has a fast growing rate. Coming from Central and South America, this plant is beneficial for any aquarium as it consumes ammonia and nitrates while providing shade and shelter for smaller top dweller fish, and fry.

Salvinia Cucullata has green cup-like leaves and will form a 'carpet' on the surface of your aquarium.
This plant is somewhat hard to find but a great option to substitute the more common Salvinia Minima.

Red Root Floater is a gorgeous floating plant with low light requirements and therefore great for beginners. When exposed to high lighting, this plant turns completely red (see pictures) which is extremely rewarding and eye catching. It's roots are also a unique feature of this plant - other floating plants have grey/brownish roots while this one, as the name suggests, has bright red roots.

- Suitable for any aquarium type and pond.

Plants were fine. Problem 1: Only 7 out of 10 snails were alive on delivery. There were no extras included. I've emailed twice and haven't got a single response. Problem 2: I received a ship notification with estimated arrival date, I adjusted my schedule to be home and it's not actually handed off to the carrier for another full week past the arrival date and only when I sent an email inquiry. Problem 3: FedEx left my package on the side of my gravel drive, hundreds of feet away from the front door in the full sun.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. While we are glad to hear your 10 plants and 7 of the snails arrived safely, we are sorry that the rest of your experience fell short. Losing 3 snails in transit is definitely disappointing, and we want to assure you that you are fully covered under our 100% Live Arrival Guarantee - your satisfaction is always our priority. While we do include extra plants as part of the B3G1, we typically pack the exact count ordered for our snails.

Regarding communication, we are so sorry for the frustration. We did send a reply to your status inquiry, but didn't hear back. We never want you to feel ignored, so if you ever don't hear back within a few hours, please don't hesitate to give our store a direct call or message us on social media so we can connect right away.
