Description
This aquatic mollusk is the most common snail of the Stenomelania Species. These boot faced creatures came to us from freshwater lakes of Indonesia and the peaceful nature of this snail is one factor that makes is interesting to keep them. They have long, smooth and pointy, dark brown, spiral like shells that can grow up to 2.5" long.
They love to spend most of their time searching for food and like to bury themselves in the substrate.
