Description

The White Giant Brotia Herculea Snail is an aquatic gastropod mollusk in the family Pachychilidae. This snails justifies its name (Giant), as it can grow to be over 4" in length. They can be found in rivers all over Thailand and Burma. Unlike their cousin, the Rabbit Snail (Tylomelania) which are known to have large babies, the Giant Tower Cap gives birth to live, very tiny babies and only reproduce about 3 times a year.

Pretty snails

They’re gorgeous snails unfortunately one died after a day and the other one is flourishing. Not sure why maybe the transit was too much for the other fella. But they make a great addition to my ruins tank

Adorable! Active, Healthy, Great Value

I would give this product 5* however, I recently learned that Hercules Brotia do not naturally come with a white shell. I am not positive this company knows this. They shell is eroded in acid prior to being sent to pet stores. Essentially, they are tortured to create a designer shell.

HOWEVER:
The snails I received were immediately active and have grown and continued to thrive! 10/10 on quality. Shipping was FAST!
