Description

This aquatic mollusk is one of the most sought-after snail in the aquarium hobby. Snails from the Tylomelania Genus are known as "Sulawesi Snail", "Elephant Snail", or "Giant Rabbit Snail". These  elephant faced creatures came to us from freshwater lakes in Indonesia and the peaceful nature of the Rabbit Snail is one factor that makes is interesting to keep them. They have long rugged spiral like brown and white shells that can grow up to 4" long.

I ordered these specifically to get a color mix. I even included a listing of my color preferences, in order. The * only color I asked them not to send was chocolate.
They sent an orange and 3 white spotted. Defeats the purpose of "variety"- I would rather have picked two colors and bought a 2 pack of each.
*Edit. My next order was two yellows (since I didn't get a good variety the first time). They sent two wild green color. These two were pretty inactive - my daughter kept telling me the smaller one was dead, and she was right. The whole experience has kind of soured me on the rabbit snails. I did not order from my regular supplier strictly because of the colors at AquaMotiv. Disappointing. I'm adding this to this review because AquaMotiv refunded $10 of my yellow snail order and now it won't let me leave a review. Attached see picture of "yellow* snail. Just keep in mind if color is important to you.

Wonderful customer service, fast shipping, BEAUTIFUL snails! I got four rabbits, 10 mysteries and 3 horned nerites. So thats close to twenty snails, and all of them arrived happy healthy and alive! They even accomodated me with a preference that i wanted. So its a 10/10 for me with excellent shipping/customer service/great product.

I would certainly buy from these guys again, and i will be also reccomending to all my friends. Cheers guys from me and my family to yours!

I love rabbit snails now!

I ordered 4 all came in alive and diffrent colors. My favorite has a gold dust foot and a darker shell. Would order again!
