Anacharis, also known as Brazilian Elodea, Brazilian Waterweed, and Egeria, is a fast growing plant that is a must for any freshwater aquarium, especially if you want to create an easy Aquascape. It's small, bright-green and thin leaves will make your background stand out like nothing else. This plant does not need co2 or high amounts of lighting. It may very well be in the top 5 of the easiest plants to keep and grow.

Anacharis is easily propagated by simply cutting the stem and replanting it in the substrate.

I received a beautiful selection of red swords. They were packaged very nicely- it's clear the company takes great pride in their product and ships them with care. Each bundle had a large amount of root growth as well as 13+ leaves (from new shoots to fully grown). I have never experienced 'melt' with any of the plants I have purchased from this company... Not even the crypts!!! (most professional aqua scalers just cut the leaves and plant the roots as crypts are notorious for melting).
