Description
Fiddler Crabs are one of the most, if not the most common crab in the aquarium hobby. There are hundreds of species and subspecies of the Uca genus and they can be found all around the world. Fiddler Crabs are incredibly docile and easy to keep. They make great pets for anyone with the right housing - you are gonna need at least a 10 gallon tank with plenty of water and a dry area. Males and females can be easily distinguished - Female fiddler crabs have small claws and male fiddler crabs have one small claw, and a large claw. Fiddler crabs are scavengers and will accept pretty much all foods.
