Freshwater Gold Clam x3

The clams are cool. I drip acclimated them and put them in one spot in my tank. They were gone the next morning. They found their magic spots and won’t see them again

arrived in great condition. after acclimation they wasted no time in burying themselves in the substrate.

I spent 2 hour acclimating them (I know people will tell me longer) Placed them in the tank and immediately 2 of them buried themselves in the sand. The third one took a little over an hour and then buried itself. The hard part was figuring out which side should be up, so I placed them vertically and let them decide. Couldn't be more happy, every now and then I see one stick up out of the sand, but my water column is so very clear now. LOVE these guys.

I have three of these Gold Clams in my UNS AIO 16 gallon and they are doing their thing! Great addition to the planted tank family! Great livestock and shipping was perfect!

One had minimal shell damage as to be expected. All of them were about the size of a quarter or slightly smaller. Nice addition to my 3 nano tanks.
