Packaging was excellent for these snails. One didn’t make it, but the other 2 are doing well. They are a lot smaller than I expected but really happy with their appearance. It’s kinda like Easter egg hunting looking for them in the tank! If you need a lot of space covered in your tank you will need a lot more snails due to their size. They don’t stop moving and cleaning tho. They are small but mighty!
While these are beautiful snails with cool little markings on their shells, they are super small and aren’t very resilient. 2 of them didn’t last a whole week. I still have one little guy and it stays busy. Every day I look for it. It’s all over the place. It’s fun hunting for it and seeing where it is. Just dissatisfying with only the one. At least I have other nerties that are the bigger standard types. A 10 gallon tank would be a galaxy to cover for this one little guy!
All 3 arrived alive and were up and sround within minutes. It’s only been 2 days but so far so good. Put 2 in my 10 gal with a pink lady and the other jn my 7 gal with a black helmet
