Description
This aquatic mollusk is one of the most common Tylomelania Sp. snail in the aquarium hobby. Snails from the Tylomelania Genus are known as "Sulawesi Snail", "Elephant Snail", or "Giant Rabbit Snail". These elephant faced creatures came to us from freshwater lakes in Indonesia and the peaceful nature of the Rabbit Snail is one factor that makes is interesting to keep them. They have long, smooth light brown/beige, spiral like shells that can grow up to 4" long.
